‘Sillery’ Oltrepo Pavese

Region: Oltrepo Pavese, Lombardy, Italy
The grapes for Sillery Oltrepo Pavese are gently pressed to avoid colour extraction from the skins. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature of 15-16 °C in stainless-steel vats. The wine is aged in stainless-steel vats for 6 months, has no contact with oak and is refrained from malolactic fermentation to keep the pure characters of the variety.
Expect intense, pleasant aromas of white flowers and citrus mixed with balsamic overtones leading to a rich, velvety & well-balanced medium body.
Tenuta Frecciarossa has just 20ha of vineyard within the ‘Oltrepo Pavese’ zone of Lombardy. These are wonderful food wines, almost exclusively enjoyed at the fashionable bars and restaurants of Milan
