Description
Les Quinze
Region : Pays Nantais, Loire, France
Grape : Melon de Bourgogne
A crisp, unoaked, dry muscadet from Jeremie Huchet who took over the family estate in 2001, changing it beyond recognition and being seen as the up and coming producer in the Muscadet region.
One of Jeremie’s organically farmed, single vineyard wines grown on sandy and stony soils over granite bedrock. The fermentation is made by the indigenous yeasts that exist naturally on the grapes. The wine is then aged on its lees for 9 months in concrete vats for a textured wine with notes of peach, honeysuckle and grapefruit with an elegant vein of minerality.
Jeremie Huchet is going from strength to strength and continuing to increase the size of his estate, which now covers 64 hectacres, of which a third are oganic. Learn more here.
