Grape: 50 Grenache, 30 Mourvedre, 20 Syrah
Region: Rasteau, Southern Rhone, France
Powerful aromas of concentrated black fruits, black olive & spices. This all follows through on the palate with beautifully silky tannins.
6 week cool fermentation and 10 months ageing in concrete tanks add complexity & subtle oxidative flavours.
Rasteau was only granted its full AOC status in 2010, located just 15 miles northeast of Chateanueuf-du-Pape.
