Description
Graves Blanc
Region : Graves, Bordeaux, France
Grape : Semillon 50%, Sauvignon Blanc 50%
This fabulous dry white Graves in the Bordeaux region shows off way more than an echo of its more famous neighbours. Combining zesty pink grapefruit and herb aromas with succulent, rounded texture and sumptuous flavours of honeydew melon, cream and toast, it is an amazing wine for the extremely modest price.
The grapes are manually harvested and vinified at 15°C then aged on the lees for six months. The Graves Blnc is dry, mid-weight, unoaked, with a complex palate showing oil, peach and lime juice.
This pairs perfectly with lemon and sage roasted chicken and pork belly dishes.
