Elder Bay Blush by Thunderflower
Elder Bay Blush is a delightfully refreshing craft-gin that celebrates flavours found in Devon.
Combining two gin making techniques, we first distill a London Dry Gin using vapour infusion to marry piney Juniper with our signature flavours of Elderflower and Bay Leaf, amongst others. The gin is then infused with Rowan Berries, Hawthorn and Rosehip adding tartness and notes of jam.
The result is a uniquely fragrant gin with a great depth of flavour that celebrates regional flavours.
Serve with lots of ice and your favourite premium tonic water. Garnish with Strawberry.
Thunderflower Distillery was launched in 2018 by Anicca & Dom from the coastal town of Teignmouth.
They run a custom-built 200 litre pot still, developing their own recipes and lovingly crafting their spirits every step of the way, from the design of the labels, foraging botanicals, and distilling & bottling. They still number and sign each 70cl bottle we produce with pride.
An old Devon legend says that the tiny white ‘thunder flowers’ that sometimes grow on the thatched cottage roofs and ancient Dartmoor landscape can ward off both lightning and witchcraft – both handy qualities for any gin we’re sure you’ll agree.
