A delicious blend of Garnacha, Syrah and Cabernet displaying lovely soft, ripe red and dark fruit. Barrel ageing gives enticing Spice and toasty notes with supple tannins which are complemented by a long moreish finish
This wine is made from organically grown grapes from the Montsant region in Catalunya, named after the Montsant massif (`holy mountain`) that dominates the region`s landscape. Montsant lies west of Tarragona city and forms a `C` shape that almost completely surrounds the prestigious Priorat region.
The Hidalgo Albert family has been working in the world of wine for over 25 years. Their approach has always been to focus on creating quality wines from the south zone of Catalonia. “Celler Hidalgo Albert” is a project which was born in 2003 with the target of producing organic high quality wines with traditional working methods. They are situated in Poboleda in the north of the historical Priorat DOQ.
